In the United States, while women represent about 50% of graduates of architectural programs, less than 18% of licensed architects are women — even fewer achieve leadership positions or ownership. AIA San Francisco invites you to participate in a groundbreaking study that will establish metrics and highlight best practices for achieving gender equity in architectural practice. The survey will be Phase 1 for a multi-year project and the first major research study of its kind to be conducted by an AIA local chapter in the US.
The committee, The Missing 32%, is encouraging both men and women to fill out the survey. It takes about 20 minutes. [adrotate banner=”53″] The link to the survey and more details can be found at http://themissing32percent.com.
