J. Everette “Ebo” Fauber, III, AIA, was granted on Dec. 12, 2013, the status of  “emeritus member” of the Board for Architects, Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, Certified Interior Designers, and Landscape Architects.

The full board unanimously approved the title after a motion made by Robert Boynton, FAIA, a current member of the regulatory board.  Boynton wrote that he made the motion to honor Fauber’s service to the board and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.

Fauber was appointed to the APELSCIDLA Board by three governors, serving for a total of 12 years.  He was board president twice and section chair several times.  At NCARB, as the APELSCIDLA Board’s representative, he served as the Region 2 director, served on more than seven NCARB committees, and served for many years as chair of the site design division of the ARE.

The emeritus-member status has been conferred upon only one other former member of the APELSCIDLA Board:  Stanley Harris, PE.
